What is IPL Photo-Rejuvenation and how does it work?
IPL photo-rejuvenation is a popular, non-invasive treatment used to improve many skin conditions. It uses specific wavelengths of light to simultaneously treat pigmented and vascular lesions in the skin (brown and red pigments), while stimulating the production of collagen.
IPL photo-rejuvenation works on the ‘Theory of Photothermolysis’. This occurs when light is absorbed into excessive melanin (the dark pigment) in your skin and hemoglobin (the red color in your blood vessels). This light converts to heat, which damages the target cells while leaving the surrounding skin unaffected. The cells that contain the pigment will naturally move toward the surface of the skin and slough off, leaving a much lighter pigmented lesion or one that is no longer visible. As vascular conditions exist deeper in the skin they will gradually fade within a few weeks.
IPL technology is also employed in the treatment of medical disorders of the skin including:
Sun damage induced depigmentation and vascular changes
Acne Rosacea
Broken capillaries/telangiectasia
Vascular and pigmented birth marks
Advantages of our IPL machine:
Medical CE approved.
Effective cooling system---Incorporates water, wind and semiconductor cooling systems to make the treatment more comfortable and prolong the machine's working time. The water tank and the electric circuits are separate, which make sure the machine is always safe.
Efficient treatment: With two treatments handle pieces.
